I bought these because I often had knee pain after sitting in the saddle for an hour or two and since most of our rides were trail riding the pain needed to be addressed. I'm 21 and don't have any knee problems or arthritis. Of course, we tried the classic shaping of stirrups with our own hands, after running a board through them. But my knee always hurt with every saddle. Now I have a trail saddle with wider stirrups and cushioning, but it wouldn't be enough without those turn signals. These stirrup twisters really work and are worth the money. Now I can ride for hours without pain.
