When you buy skin care products, you usually get what you pay for and used products cost around $100 an ounce. In the past few years, my standards have been very high. Also, I've had no luck finding a cheap but adequate moisturizer. So I didn't have high hopes for something this cheap. It feels like an acceptable light moisturizer. No, it's not the lightest product I've ever used, but it absorbs well and keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day. With some self-proclaimed lightweight moisturizers, you can feel like there's something on your skin (especially if you're tensing your cheeks) for hours after you've applied it. That being said, that feeling is minimal or non-existent depending on how much I use. But even more important is hyaluronic acid. I won't go into lengthy explanations of what it is and what it does, but think of it VERY basically as a sponge that retains moisture. And NO, it is NOT the acid that will burn you. I see it in the reviews and roll my eyes. I usually apply this over the serum twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening before bed, each after cleansing my face. Removal is quick and easy without leaving your skin super smooth the moment it gets wet. If you're just using micellar water and a cotton swab to clean your face, you only need one side of the circle to remove everything. Oil and fragrance free, you don't have to worry about clogged pores or skin irritation. I see there are several reviews claiming that people get acne, which is possible since it's not hypoallergenic, but I haven't experienced anything like this. While I may continue to try others, this is a product I would buy again.
