THIS IS PERFECT EXCEPT FOR THE NEEDY
The instructions for each project in this set are illustrated so well my granddaughter learned everything she needed to know by following them. She loved it and went on to make her own pillow because she figured out how to make it. There is a metal needle, a plastic needle and pins. They are well packaged so if the kids are careful there is nothing to worry about. The needle threader is junk. I don't know why anyone makes them bigger. It won't cost much to buy your own. I would not recommend this to any teenager who wants to learn to sew!
