The attachment system is vulnerable to anyone who can remove the headlights. I believe the other method, using a stainless steel clip that requires a tool to secure, can be more durable and secure. While the brightness is very acceptable, I've had wheel drive generator lights that were much brighter. I can't comment on the battery life as I didn't use it enough in the 2 weeks after dark. I love how the front light can be attached to the bracket and easily removed for other uses or charging. Both lamps look good. I plan to buy more for my grandchildren.
