3 years after purchase. I don't usually wait that long to write a review, but this is a mattress we're talking about. Opening: The memory foam was easy to decompress and took 24 hours to fully expand to size. There was a smell when you first opened it, but it was gone the next day. 6 months: mattress has held up great. 1 year old: I thought I was going insane when I felt the metal frame of our bed through the mattress. I felt like he was starting to lose support, but not so much that I lost sleep because of it. 2 years later: Now my husband has agreed that we can DEFINITELY feel metal through the mattress. We turned it regularly and it still didn't help. Why didn't we buy a new mattress?!?! 3 years later: My goodness, my back, my hips, my legs, my neck hurt so much that I prefer to sleep on hardwood floors. We probably should have (DEFINITELY) broken up a long time ago. Someone tell me why we waited so long?!?! Final Thoughts: This mattress looks like a bad friend. You know you should have left him a long time ago and you can't understand why you stayed. Don't waste your time with this. Do yourself a favor and find a mattress you can adopt.
