Review on MOSISO Compatible With MacBook Air 13 Inch Case (Models: A1369 &Amp Laptop Accessories by Brandon Henry

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product for the price but you could spend a little more and get a much better product.

I read many reviews before purchasing but decided to purchase despite the negative reviews. I was tempted to give it 5 stars instead of 4 simply because of the price, but there are some legitimate "problems". Pros: - It's hard to complain about anything considering the product only costs $14 and the fact that it comes with a hard case, silicone keyboard case and screen protector. - The cover fits well, but one of the corner clips seems to pop out every now and then (mostly when the screen is opened more than 110-135 degrees. - The silicone keyboard cover is great! Fits well, doesn't slip, minimally affects the backlight - The front cover blocks the Apple logo when the device is off, but lets it show through when the device is on.The effect is like a glowing apple icon on a foggy night, which I think looks good They say it's for scratch protection , NOT for protection. I don't recommend taking it off very often as the side tabs can break over time. it's more of a burgundy color and much darker than the picture. The screen protector is terrible. I think I'll remove it and throw it away. It's made of inferior material and is significantly smaller than the screen It's not Touch screen There are holes all over the bottom ventilation slits, although there is no ventilation mechanism. This simply allows dirt/dust to get into the case, which can scratch the device over time. This, combined with the brittle plastic, is likely to be problematic as constant removal for cleaning will likely break the case lugs. All in all, if you're looking for a cheap product to protect your shiny new MacBook Air from scratches, and as a keyboard cover to go with it, this is a GREAT buy. However, if you've just spent about $1,000 on a new laptop and don't mind spending another $32 (instead of $14), consider getting a Speck case ($25) and a get another keyboard case (they sell for $7). Revain) as this is a higher quality case and will likely last longer than this.
