Review on 🌞 Highly Efficient RICH SOLAR 60W 12V Portable Monocrystalline Solar Panel with Kickstand: Ideal for Portable Power Stations and Solar Generators by Hector Smith

Revainrating 1 out of 5

DO NOT buy this for your portable power station.

This panel destroyed my $540 powerhouse. At the time of my purchase, the description of this panel unceremoniously and universally generalized as compatible with "portable power stations". There is an Andersen connector on the panel (I have 2 power plants, one of which has an Andersen connector built in) so they are certainly compatible. I bought an Andersen 8mm adapter for my Westinghouse power plant. The first power plant with built-in Andersen connector (Renogy) showed no input power on the display (0). I unplugged it and plugged it into my other power plant using an 8mm connector (Westinghouse iGen). Again the display showed zero input. There were no instructions in the box and when I tried to contact someone for troubleshooting advice I heard a loud bang. I looked around, my battery was dying and my display was jagged. Some smoke got into the video I posted (it was way worse). The records (I bought two) were sent back to Revain the next day. I don't have a $540 power plant and no liability for damages has been filed so far. My next step is the Business Improvement Bureau and the Consumer Protection Division of the California Department of Justice, if only on principle. Watch my YouTube video (Rich Solar 100W monocrystalline panel for portable power plants destroys Westinghouse iGen 600). There will be additional information that cannot be documented here until my review is withdrawn.
