Doesn't work with x300 as advertised

Bought to pair with the X300 thinking there would be no problems with connector matching as they are the same brand. Be willing to put some things together to make it work. We're going to do this for our first camping trip this weekend.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Weight

The panel is light, the stand is junk

The panel itself is exactly what I was looking for. However, the stand is more of a gimmick. It tolerates the body very poorly and often does not want to expand. It also has a very cheap powder coat finish and started chipping and rusting within a week of purchase. However, the panel itself is what I needed.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • boring packaging

Best solar panel for Goal Zero Yeti owners

If you have a Goal Zero Yeti with APP input, you must get this solar panel. Anderson's connectors can be separated and reconfigured in a vertical orientation, no adapter required - Stands already installed - Much cheaper than GZ panels - Longer warranty. I'm still trying it out for power delivery, but the results so far seem promising. Edit: Output power in full sun in early December at noon with a 30ft extension is 80W or more, beating GZ panels. When connected directly, it delivers 90W orโ€ฆ

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models

Great portable solar panel

Update 17 February 2021 The panels appear to be covered in plastic on the back and one of my panels in the junction box has started to have its paper peeling off. Back of the panel so that the junction box is detached from the panel - this type of back does not seem suitable for a portable panel. I've been using one of these panels for a while and I'm very happy with it. I've gotten over 100 watts from this from time to time, although it requires perfect orientation, full sun, high altitudeโ€ฆ

DO NOT buy this for your portable power station.

This panel destroyed my $540 powerhouse. At the time of my purchase, the description of this panel unceremoniously and universally generalized as compatible with "portable power stations". There is an Andersen connector on the panel (I have 2 power plants, one of which has an Andersen connector built in) so they are certainly compatible. I bought an Andersen 8mm adapter for my Westinghouse power plant. The first power plant with built-in Andersen connector (Renogy) showed no input power on theโ€ฆ

Best value for money solar generator

Firstly I was skeptical for 3 reasons based on other reviews. One of them was a boner, some said he was bad or weak. Absolutely not. This is actually the sturdiest portable panel stand I have. Seriously, very stable, even in strong California winds. Well, the second thing I wasn't sure about was the Anderson Power Pole Adapter. I simply ordered an Anderson 5.5mm x 2.1mm adapter. They make men and women and both cost $9.99. The male connector connects directly to your solar generator, while theโ€ฆ

Doing the Job in Solar Panels

The solar panels (2) were packed in a double carton, nothing is bent, scratched or cracked. I figured I'd rather carry a single 100 watt panel than a heavier 200 watt foldable panel. They're big, but the average person should be able to handle them. The footpegs work as they should, the electrical connections looked and worked well. I particularly liked the Anderson connectors because I switched my system to them many years ago. They are an excellent connector widely used in medical andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

ROCKS Kickstand

I first used 100 watt flex panels for a few years, then a 100 watt Renogy suitcase panel for a few years and now this solid 100 watt panel with Stand to operate my camper since last year. If you're trying to choose between these three styles, buy this panel! Flex panels were great until they went away. They weigh nothing and don't take up space on a large, flat and protected surface - I kept them right in my RV's window frame. 43x22x.1. BUT I completed 5 of them in 2 1/2 years. one swam awayโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and Modern Design
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Reliable power is the best solar panel

Bought a RICH SOLAR x300 power station and 100W 12V RICH SOLAR portable monocrystalline solar panel to take the family on a long camping trip. The main goal was to minimize the need for disposable batteries by charging rechargeable AA batteries as well as all of our lithium-ion powered electronics. Also use it for USB fan. I'll use the same text for both reviews, so don't tell me if some parts don't apply to the product you're trying to buy. We spent nights in the Badlands and the Black Hillsโ€ฆ

  • Hands-free operation
