I discovered this while looking for a way to connect multiple devices to my 2018 MacBook Pro and it was a match in terms of port count and price and it would only allow use of one of mine require four connections. I've been using it for a few days now to connect my many portable drives and transfer all my information to my new 4TB drive. The speed is good, and as I mentioned before, being able to connect up to four drives simultaneously through just one port is a big plus! One problem I've encountered is that the hub randomly loses connection and "ejects" drives. This becomes a serious problem when you are about to transfer files that are several gigabytes in size. Luckily my files are still on screen when disconnected, so I just unplug and plug the hub back in and wait for the drives to plug back in and start working again. Just wanted to say that Revain Basics is great for "getting exactly what you need", but maybe their quality control isn't quite where it should be.
