Review on Children's Smoky Mountain Pueblo Square Toe Leather Boots with Crepe Sole by Russ Mashlan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They were available in size 12.

My son really likes these boots. He needed a pair for a riding camp he attended and didn't like the boots he tried on. These were the only ones he was okay with, although he still has to get used to a little healing. I treated them with conditioner straight away and was glad about that as the leather didn't look finished and it helped protect the boot. Not necessarily, but for a 5-year-old who went straight to play in the wet mud, I think it was a good decision to prep them first. They are a bit big. My son wears regular size 12.5 shoes and the size 12.5 boots I bought from this brand were too big. I would buy a size 0.5 smaller if they just need to fit. The skin stretches and gives, so I think they will easily fit him for the season. I didn't want to increase the size to ensure the loose boots would be uncomfortable for me. I prefer to buy what fits now and buy another pair next season.

Pros
  • Fashionable square toe cap
Cons
  • not reliable
