My favorite is the raw natural wood frame. Some other wood frames have an MDF base with a wood grain printed plastic laminate that doesn't have the same warmth or "humidity" as this frame. This is subjective taste though - some may prefer the more finished, glossy look of laminate floors. It's lightweight as it has a thin plastic lid instead of glass. It's reassuring when it falls off a wall or shelf. FYI, it doesn't have an easel stand on the back, so you can't support it alone. Instead, it has a single jagged hangar at the back that you can move to portrait or landscape (as shown in the photo). There are cheaper frames out there, but natural wood also attracted me to this product. Overall satisfied but docked 1 star because I think it's a bit pricey for what it is.
