Size is as described - Length 30mm / 1.1in. 5mm / 0.2 inch high. Depth 15 mm / 0.5 inch The clamping pressure seems to be correct. Didn't leave a mark, but it definitely won't go anywhere after you clip it. Used for ties that are 52mm / 2.04in wide at the widest point (bottom where most ties start to slope towards the tip). They go perfectly with these ties and run about 3/4 down the tie when placed between the 3rd and 4th buttons. right or wrong. They are kept in a nice little jewelry box.
