UPDATE: Kuhn Rikon offers a 2-year warranty on this product. I called them and they immediately sent a free replacement. I'm feeling so much better so I'm increasing my rating to 4 stars. When it works, it works great and we love the coffee grinder! Other reviewers experiencing similar issues may be contacted by Kuhn Rikon at 415.883.1101 Pacific Time. less than 3 months to failure with light use. The return window is closed, there is no guarantee. Very cheaply made. Would give zero stars if I could. That's one of the reasons why I like Revane less and less. Once the return window closes, your chances of being saved are very slim.
