Good for cryptocurrency mining
I was able to split the PCIe_1 slot on my MSI X470 motherboard (4x + 4x) so I can connect 6 Radeon VII GPUs to the board with a Ryzen 3200G , since PCIe_4 cannot be implemented with this processor. It was worth the $20 I spent compared to forgoing the M.2 NVMe SSD to try and use the adapter to add another PCIe slot.
