Have been using it for over 2 months now and haven't had any problems. I used an old Samsung mSATA SSD and screwed the cover on with the small screws that came with it. What if I was picky would be my only complaint. Slightly larger screws that don't require a magnifying glass and little elf fingers to install would be better. Otherwise, after finally getting the screws in, I plugged it into my desktop PC's SATA port and it's been working fine ever since. I'm happy to report that the PC only sees the Samsung SSD. I've read of some other similar enclosures showing up under the adapter name on your system instead of the disk name. To me this would be an unacceptable shortcoming, so I was very happy to see that this adapter handles this situation correctly. I will update the review if anything changes; However, I don't see any problems with such a device if nothing has happened within the first 2+ months.
