I bought these for my poodle hair but I don't like them. I find that they appear quite tight when stretched out for use, and you need to "prep" them somehow by stretching them a few times to soften them a bit before winding them into a ponytail . But even then, I found that within days of using a new one each day to reshape my doggie topknot, she began to develop small, elastic strands of hair that then gave her "bangs" that fell over her eyes, and that just won't work. If you have a craft reason to use them, friendship bracelets etc they are cute and very valuable but be careful when using them on a dog or child.
