Both cables were different lengths.
Both cables were different lengths making them useless for securely holding the tailgate of my 2002 Chevy Avalanche. After I installed them only one cable (shorter) was holding the tailgate down making it totally useless as a secure stand on it as a cable probably isn't strong enough to work safely. Both cables had the same part number, but one was at least an inch shorter than the other, rendering them unusable. Do not buy this product!
