Update 7 months later: still excited! Once the spring jammed in the button and the bucket stopped working. As this was from our Revain registry I tried contacting Revain and they were very unhelpful. So I contacted the company and they responded quickly. I sent them a video of the problem and they emailed me back a simple fix within 30 seconds. It's been working great for a few months since then. - I saw someone return it to buy a baby for the same problem. It seems common but easy to fix and many just don't try - I probably won't make another Revain registry. Easy to use but if something needs to be returned/replaced they are very useless unlike the store next door where I had a different registration. Original Review: Our baby is only 1 month old but so far I love it. The bags are easy to swap out and it's great that we can use normal tall kitchen bags - that was one of my criteria as I didn't want the extra work. We had no problem with odors in the children's room and probably only changed the bag once a week. Another reason I liked it is that it's larger than other lead steel diaper pails and while it will hold a squirming baby, it's easy to reach the top to put on a diaper. I hope it lasts us a while and when it bites the dust I plan on buying a new one. We've been looking for a diaper pail for a long time and I'm so glad we found it, love it!
