It may seem like you are overpaying for a plain piece of fabric, but this is the best part. I spent a month in Fairbanks, Alaska, -30 to -10 degrees, outside all day, and you need something to cover your nose. Not necessarily a lot, but you need something. I've tried a ski mask and two face masks and Buff was the best. It lets you breathe without restricting your breath too much like a ski mask does and doesn't scratch your nose. I have sensitive skin and don't need a seam, seam or rough fabric to wear a red spot on the bridge of my nose all day.
