Great for Iceland! good for outdoor activities

I bought this for Iceland because I was told it was very windy there (to the point where they had torn their scarves off). I've worn it constantly since landing. It was the perfect neck covering! It wasn't particularly windy, but it really helped keep my neck warm. A few times when I wasn't wearing it I felt noticeably colder. It has helped me not to constantly button my coat. When we were near the ports I wore it over my face to mask the fishy smell.

Pros
  • Moisture wicking, quick drying, breathable
Cons
  • I don't really like it, it's ok

Multi tool with a piece of pipe, simply fantastic!

That doesn't make you a buff. So it sucks. But it helps in different ways. I've used it for hiking, camping and mostly for morning motorbike and bike rides. It makes me look like an alien or some weird nun-like weirdo, but damn it keeps the sun from making my hillbilly redder and keeps me warm. It can protect against some bugs and looks great as a headband (although it makes me even weirder with a shaved head) and you can even use it as an eye mask at night.

Pros
  • Made in USA
Cons
  • Repair

Great if you ride a motorbike

Bought this because I've been riding my bike a lot lately and wanted something to keep my hair from getting tangled in the helmet. A regular hat would be too thick, but this works great. It's thin but still offers some warmth by covering my neck, head and face (I like to wear a balaclava). I do more outdoor activities. However, for now this is perfect for what I need.

Pros
  • Can be worn 12+ ways
Cons
  • So far so good

Man's best friend in cold weather

Someone gave me one of these last winter and I left it day and night in shame. It's time to get at least one more to complete my use and be able to wash another one! It makes a great addition to any winter wardrobe, whether used to insulate the neck, face or ears. These buffs are both functional and trendy. I have one for my dark thirty winter morning outings and often have to pull it over my face to keep the chill out. Thanks Buff and thanks AvidMax and Revain!

Pros
  • One size fits most adults
Cons
  • There are downsides

Great for hot and cold days.

I love this buff! Sometimes my job takes me outside for an hour in the morning and I have to come home for the day. I can't wear thermal underwear to work on cold days because my colleagues have sulfur levels. I got this buff to wrap my head and neck outside at this hour. But I've found that I like to wear it like a skullcap, with what I call the knot inside out. Insert your hands from opposite ends and pinch the other ends. Then, tangle both ends together to make a nice lob with a knot at the…

Pros
  • Polygiene cloth treatment helps against odors
Cons
  • Some insects

The best that doesn't pull the skin off your nose

It may seem like you are overpaying for a plain piece of fabric, but this is the best part. I spent a month in Fairbanks, Alaska, -30 to -10 degrees, outside all day, and you need something to cover your nose. Not necessarily a lot, but you need something. I've tried a ski mask and two face masks and Buff was the best. It lets you breathe without restricting your breath too much like a ski mask does and doesn't scratch your nose. I have sensitive skin and don't need a seam, seam or rough fabric

Pros
  • 100% seamless construction
Cons
  • Negative impression
