Key fobs arrived quickly and in excellent condition. Much cheaper than at the dealer. I paid $70 for laser cutting at a locksmith which was a bit of a surprise. Everything I read online said the self-programming option was removed in the 2018 F150. The dealership charged $150 to program two key fobs, while the local locksmith charged $135. Even Ford updated the owner's manual in 2018 and shows you how to program a new key fob first and then go to your dealership to program the key fob. My 2019 manual even says I have to go to the dealer. I even looked at ForScan and the ELM327 adapter but there were no options for my 2019 F150. Based on jseaco nc review i tried programming steps and it worked! It took less than a minute. For two keychains, I simply repeated the process for each. As long as you have TWO original keychains, everything works great. I calculated this 3 seconds to match the trigger signal. Worked great without any modification. The information display even shows the factory key code. The dealer said ONLY genuine Ford keyfobs would work. Obviously Ford and dealers are working together on some level to get people to go to dealerships and pay exorbitant prices for something that can be done at home in minutes.
