My locksmith was skeptical when I quoted the price but he was able to cut and program it perfectly. I've been using it for several weeks with no problems. This is for the 2018 XLT F150 Supercrew. The key looks the same as my OEM version that came with the car except it doesn't have an FCC or FORD symbol.

Completely misleading description. Self-programming is not possible for the 2018 F150. The seller confirmed this in the description after the purchase. Must be programmed at Ford Dealership for $100! Turns out it's not as good a buy as if I bought the key from the dealer that included the programming.

I have a 2018 F150 XLT 4x2 double cab. Although I couldn't program them myself (using Youtube instructions) I was able to take them to a local locksmith (Alcatraz in Chula Vista, CA) and they cut them out and programmed both new ones in 20 minutes. Be prepared to pay $30 for cutting and $85 for programming, which is still less than half what the dealer is asking for two new keys.

The key was cut and programmed by two different companies including Ford. The key starts the truck but the lock/unlock buttons do not work. I contacted the company and they told me it was the dead batteries in the remote control. They wanted me to buy new batteries but I refused so they sent me one. Replaced the battery and the remote still works! The company let me go and told me there was nothing they could do. Don't buy this!

I wanted a replacement key and didn't want to pay over $250 from a dealer or over $130 from a locksmith. This key was cut for me by a local locksmith for $30. This product deserves -5 stars because it is a waste of money. I don't know how others who wrote positive reviews got this spare key working because I hired a professional locksmith to do it and he couldn't program the remote. Key fobs arrived quickly and in excellent condition. Much cheaper than at the dealer. I paid $70 for laser cutting at a locksmith which was a bit of a surprise.
