It slows the flow, good for rough plumbing

We recently bought a house with a septic tank so saving water is a big deal right now. We love our rain shower, but it uses unlimited amounts of water. Thing cuts the flow to less than half and honestly the rain shower is still nice, less heavy but certainly not a drizzle.
