Very impressed with the quality of the dog door. I accidentally ordered a dog "door" instead of a dog through the wall door, so I had to go to the Endura website and order a wall kit. Easy to find and quick shipping, although not cheap. Once I had a wall kit, I watched the installation video and read the instructions. My fully threaded nut was already tightened on it. The seal was already there. So between the videos and the instructions, everything about the kit was pretty well explained. However, I have to say that in the video they show a young girl of probably subpar skill installing this door kit through a faux plaster wall on the outside of the wall over plywood. It's a decent representation of what needs to be done, but by no means what it means when you actually cut through the plaster from the outside. My patch was an inch thick. Pro tip: A diamond-tipped concrete disc on a 4-inch angle grinder cuts through very well, but tape a plastic bag to the hole inside the house so you don't cover everything inside in concrete dust. The silicone that comes with it is fine. but maybe you need a sealant to match your look for the exterior trim. Overall a great product and probably easy to install through a door but much more difficult through plastered walls.
