doors good value

I know what you're talking about, $200-$400 for a dog door? I asked the same question and remembered all the cheap dog doors I'd used in the past that kept out flies and mosquitoes, increased my heating and cooling bills because they warped and wouldn't stay closed after a month or two. This item is backed by a 15 year artificial warranty in the USA. This is actually the name of the person who created it and tested it by QA. The flap is stiff but soft on your dog's nose. They might be scared of

Great dog door! Worth every penny!

This door is a great product! Fairly easy to install through a steel door with the right tools. The door appears to be well made and very durable. It comes with a nice cover that closes the door when not in use. The door makes some noise when closing, but that's because the magnets attach quickly and firmly to the door. I thought the noise was negative but found I'd like to know when it's coming in and out. Also, this door is much taller than most on the market for the same width. This is great

The door is good but closes noisily.

Fairly easy to fit, has no gaps and comes with a gasket to close the door cut out. Sturdy flap that seems to block all external elements. The open screw holes on the dog door had white plugs, but they were too big and didn't fit at all. I couldn't even hit her. It took 4-5 weeks for my 25-35 lb dogs to walk through the door on their own. The magnetic closure is very strong and makes a loud noise when the flap closes. That was the main reason my dogs didn't want to use it. I temporarily removed…

Fantastic customer service!

Great product. Safely packaged. Installation took about an hour (I installed the dog door without removing the door from the hinges). I recommend taking the door off its hinges and laying it on the floor to make it easier to mark the cutout and make cuts, which should reduce installation time. Magnetic strips along the flap edges ensure the flap clicks into place when opened and provides an airtight seal keeping air/wind/rain/bugs etc out of the way and your air conditioning or heat in. Dogs…

Worth EVERY penny: Excellent product from installation to durability

I ordered this pet door 15 months ago and am SO glad I did. I've bought five more pet doors over the years of having pets, and if I ever need to buy another I'll happily spend the extra money on another Endura door. I have two dogs and a cat that use it every day. (Yes, a cat could use it.) It protects against direct driving rain. The 40-mile wind doesn't even move the flaps. My escape master, German Shepherd/Doberman, can't open a solid door if I slide it in place. And while the flap has…

Can be tricky to set up and expensive but worth it

I have 6 dogs. They love to get outside and run around in their fenced yard all day long. The only problem is that they rarely all want to be outside at the same time. So we played porters all day. Entry and exit, entry and exit. We have a metal exterior door that has this installed. I had several different tools for the job, but the saw was probably the most efficient. Don't expect it to look perfect. The supplied screws are relatively short, which makes assembly difficult. I would like to…

Great product but NOT one your wife will install

Very impressed with the quality of the dog door. I accidentally ordered a dog "door" instead of a dog through the wall door, so I had to go to the Endura website and order a wall kit. Easy to find and quick shipping, although not cheap. Once I had a wall kit, I watched the installation video and read the instructions. My fully threaded nut was already tightened on it. The seal was already there. So between the videos and the instructions, everything about the kit was pretty well explained…

Rugged, weatherproof construction

This was a replacement for an existing pet door for my 80 lb 27 inch Irish Setter "pup". This door did not close in windy weather. LOTS of wind! Based on my experience with the size of the original dog door, I decided to order a larger door as it was the same size as the installed door. I have a 9 inch step and it comes and goes with no problem. The door closes very well EXCEPT when he sticks his nose out to sniff the wind and then retracts. There is not enough momentum for the door to return…

  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Almost never

Sturdy door but difficult to assemble and no customer service

I really like the construction of this door but the installation is not for the faint of heart and I also received a broken door Installation instructions is that you need to drill a hole in the door large enough to fit not only the flap but also the four screws that hold the outer frame and inner frame together. This results in you having to blindly try to align the screws with the holes while flipping them in the desired direction. If instead they got you to cut less than four screw holes and
