Buyers beware - fragile/fragile drive

I bought my first Innova drive about 10 years ago and over the years I have bought many more drives. When I gave up golf, they became my dogs favorite toys and could no longer be destroyed. A used disc can be thrown into the woods countless times and withstand being hit against a tree, dogs playing tug of war, dogs chewing discs, etc. This will take many months and sometimes years. However, these latest iterations are brittle and fragile. Just this afternoon I was walking my dogs with a practically new disc and the first tree the disc barely hit broke the disc in half. This happened to three drives purchased in the last few months. I don't know if they changed the plastic formula to save money/increase profits, find a new supplier or whatever, but save your money and avoid this at all costs.
