Doesn't move around

Update: I swapped the ball for a ball from my Logitech m570. Now the movement is smoother. I'm not sure if I have a ball with a quality issue, but changing the ball improved the situation. It's still not as smooth as the m570, but it's a big improvement. I still don't recommend it, but others might find it helpful to know the improvement after the rally. Initial review: I wanted a wired trackball after using Logitech wireless trackballs for a long time. Unfortunately, after a few weeks of use, I have to say that this trackball is terrible for anything that requires smooth movement. Since I spent most of my time on my computer for programming tasks, I didn't realize how bad it was until I recently started spending time on other tasks. I really wanted this to work well, but unfortunately I have to find an alternative.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
