Description of 🖱️ ELECOM Wired Thumb-Operated Trackball Mouse: Smooth Tracking, 6-Button Function & Precision Optical Gaming Sensor (M-XT3URBK)

✅《OPTICAL TRACKING TECHNOLOGY》The ELEOM trackball provides precise cursor movement for superior accuracy so you can get where you want on the screen quickly with less hand movement, improving productivity and efficiency. ✅《FUNCTIONAL 6 BUTTONS》You can assign favorite function to each button by using "ELECOM Mouse Assistant" ELECOM Mouse Assistant Software will be available to download from ELECOM NET website. ✅《DPI CURSOR》Designed with a high-performance gaming optics system sensor and lens. The DPI button can easily change between 750(LOW) and 1500(HIGH) DPI, making the movements of your cursor faster or slower. ✅《EASY MAINTENANCE》The ball rolls on three 2.5 mm large artificial ruby ball bearings. They are extremely smooth and the relatively large size prevents dust and dirt from clogging them. So you don’t have to clean the ball bearings too often. The ball is held in place by the ball bearings, but can easily be popped out of the device, by pushing it through the hole in the bottom and it can be easily cleaned. ✅《PRODUCT DETAILS》System requirements: Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows RT8.1, Windows 10 or later (Horizontal scrolling function is not working in Windows RT8.1), macOS 10.10 later, Size: W3.7"(94.7mm) X L4.9"(124.4mm) X H1.9"(47.9mm), Weight: 4.5oz, DPI: 750/1500 count (switchable), Connectivity: wired

Decent but small optical trackball mouse.

Decent wired optical trackball mouse compared to other current offerings on the market. I didn't want to spend too much as not having a mouse is a lifetime investment. Regardless of quality or price, these are all disposable items. I had no problems with the elecom ex-6 trackball sticking. However, I found the trackball to be too slick, but this Ex-6 has a 5th button that slows down the mouse pointer, which helps. I've been using a Microsoft Optical Trackball Mouse every day since 2002 (almost…

Glad I took the chance

So I had an original Logitech trackball in the old ol' days of the 386SX and this thing was a tank. It was reliable, lasted forever, and rarely needed cleaning or maintenance. I believe he eventually died after about 14 years of service. I replaced it with newer models from the same company and was a bit disappointed. The new ones were less durable, got dirty and needed frequent cleaning, were cordless, and tended to burn the battery faster than I'd like. I looked through two of them because…

Doesn't move around

Update: I swapped the ball for a ball from my Logitech m570. Now the movement is smoother. I'm not sure if I have a ball with a quality issue, but changing the ball improved the situation. It's still not as smooth as the m570, but it's a big improvement. I still don't recommend it, but others might find it helpful to know the improvement after the rally. Initial review: I wanted a wired trackball after using Logitech wireless trackballs for a long time. Unfortunately, after a few weeks of use…
