I wish I had whey protein isolate, but I can't get past this texture. This is where I bought Unflavored Native Milk Protein Isolate and it's perfect for my needs. I'm a vegetarian (not vegan) and need more protein sources. I use this in a shake with coconut water powder (2T), native milk protein isolate (1 scoop), and any milk replacer (8 oz). Add your favorite flavors and delicious! I'm using coconut water powder for pain relief while remodeling my workout since the pools are finally open. How do I know it's not whey protein isolate? Simply because I found an article from an Idaho dairy stating that true milk protein isolate comes from a filtration process that yields 90% of the protein in the product in its dry form. Whey Protein Isolate is derived from casein by washing and adding alkali. The result is a slippery texture that some people like me just can't get past. Hope that helps!
