I should have paid more attention to the reviews. I was warned beforehand that this box should not be used as an everyday or long-term solution. We've been using the drawer for less than three months and already the zipper on one end (which we use all the time) is screwed on and won't open half the time. At least one of the two zippers on that end can still move to allow the dog in and out, but I get scared in the mornings when I try to unzip it and both zippers are fully tucked in. (We leave one end open and put the crate right next to the tub so the bitch has at least some space to run around and also has a crate to sleep in. When she's a bit older we leave her in the crate all day.) We could still use top zips but we don't like them as the dog can't get in and out at will. While this is a good cage overall, I probably wouldn't buy this item again just because of the poor quality of the zippers - hence the two stars. I'm quite surprised we only used it for three months before lightning struck the dust. We have already purchased another, stronger lock box which we are happy with. And we had to buy it first.
