If you only need something for a day, that's fine. Longer? Forget it. I bought these when I couldn't find the brand I usually use. Although they are similar, they are definitely inferior. Very low. I use it as a liner in a traditional plastic bowl, I use clumping litter and clean it every day (at least) and then at the end of the week throw it all away and start fresh with a fresh box and new litter. Even with the clumping litter, which absorbs most of the urine, the box was damp after the first use. I can't imagine the mess if you try to use it as a stand alone box or with regular fill or with multiple cats. As I said, if you only use it temporarily for a few hours, everything is fine. If you need something that will last more than a day skip this, not worth it.
