Insanely simple solution to smart lighting's biggest problem

Media failed to load. You all know the problem. We install these wonderful smart lightbulbs, which are then ruined by someone (particularly a guest) flipping a light switch on the wall, preventing our smart devices from connecting to them. Also, sometimes it's nice to just be able to use the switch on the wall instead of speaking. This used to mean I had to install a PITA Smart Switch, which I didn't want to do on every switch in my house. However, this thing only takes a minute to install, which I'm happy to do on every light switch in my house. It's basically just a remote control knob/dimmer for a light set up to block the switch so nobody operates it. That. A simple concept, but insanely useful in practice. I think the best part is the ease of installation. Move the switch to position 2. Attach the mounting plate by simply tightening one screw3. Mount the dimmer on the mounting plate4. Add a "hue friends" switch to the hue app. Installing my first switch without reading a manual or anything took about 2 minutes (see video!). Now that I've bought a few more since making the video and have some experience with them, the total time from opening the box to putting them on the wall to control my lights is about a minute. Actually, I can only think of two shortcomings. A commercially available switch is required for installation. If you have one of those new fat pinball switches, it won't fit.2. Does not work with LIFX lamps. I knew this happened as it's common with Hue lights, but it's still a bit of a shame as I prefer the much better brightness of LIFX lights. I think it's worth switching to mainly Hue lights for this, but if they came out with something like this that could power LIFX lights, I'd be all for it. PS My apologies for continuing to say "Lufton Aurora" in the video review. I misread the company name.
