Insanely simple solution to smart lighting's biggest problem

Media failed to load. You all know the problem. We install these wonderful smart lightbulbs, which are then ruined by someone (particularly a guest) flipping a light switch on the wall, preventing our smart devices from connecting to them. Also, sometimes it's nice to just be able to use the switch on the wall instead of speaking. This used to mean I had to install a PITA Smart Switch, which I didn't want to do on every switch in my house. However, this thing only takes a minute to install…

Finally a dimmer that originally works with Hue, but.

PROBLEM: When it comes to the HUE system, the biggest problem is the wall switches. We have an official dimmer that cannot be installed in the US 1-gang box and a step switch. We now have a Runlesswire seesaw that looks promising but costs sixty dollars a switch, which pays for itself very quickly. Can be used without a switch or completely decorate the switch plate. No Homekit support. Waterproof. may be?

Update 7/16/2020: You can use them together without a light switch. I got a little creative and simply installed one on a two button switch plate mounted to a single gang electrical box. I used this switch to separate the light and ceiling fan, which I've wanted to do for a long time. This is only possible if you have a neutral wire in your junction box as well as a separate dedicated hot wire in your ceiling box. I have both so I didn't need to connect power to both units for this to work. I…
