Everyone at home is always guessing if the dishes were clean and not put away, or if they were dirty and stuffed into dirty dishes. The clue to them should be a clean interior door, but they didn't think like me since I do the dishes while living with five people. Another clue would be to see red numbers out front at 12:00 am but the people I live with don't know what time it is. So when I put the dishes down o Clean Cycle I shift the word to clear and feel reassured knowing they can read clean. When I empty the dishwasher, I put it in the dirty one. The only thing I wish was a magnet as it's just 2 round circles with peel off adhesive strips.
