Review on 💧 AQUATICLIFE RO Buddie 3-Stage Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System, 100 GPD RO Unit by Andrea Sloan

This filter pack is small and quite impressive for its size. The initial setup took about 1.5 hours, including the flushing time. I ended up just attaching it to the wall next to the drain for easier flushing and waste disposal. I put a DI cartridge in front of it for full water purification, and it's worth the extra money if you need clean water. It states that the water is undrinkable after passing through an optional deionizing filter, so keep that in mind. The system is used to balance the water in the aquarium, so that's not a problem for me. My suggestion is to get a 5 gallon jug and make several gallons at a time. It connects to a faucet, which can be a pain. The supplied seal had to be cut to fit. So I used the included razor blade and very carefully cut the gasket like a donut to prevent it from leaking through the faucet. I don't like the idea of my faucet being occupied by a filtration system, so it would help to come up with an alternative. Otherwise I'm happy with the filter so far. This is an early testing process but the first 5 gallons came out with no problems. After fixing a leaky faucet, the system will stay dry, but follow the instructions and insert the hose properly. Other systems seem to cost more so it's difficult to bring that price down when you have a high TDS in your water or need to remove other chemicals like chlorine.
