Description of πŸ’§ AQUATICLIFE RO Buddie 3-Stage Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System, 100 GPD RO Unit

FRESH TASTING CLEAN WATER – The AquaticLife RO Buddie is a 3-stage reverse osmosis system designed for residential use. Produce up to 100 gallons of filtered water that tastes fresh and is clean from contaminants. REDUCES TDS FROM WATER – This reverse osmosis water filtration system includes a Sediment, Carbon, and RO Membrane. It effectively removes up to 98 percent of the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in water. Easy for small aquariums

No problem for people with small aquariums. I have a 20 gallon seawater system and wanted to avoid the frequent trips to LFS to purchase reverse osmosis saltwater. After a week of use, I was able to refill my 5 gallon reservoir with a pure reverse osmosis seawater mix. This is my first RO/DI system and we live in a small rental apartment so permanent installation was not an option. To do this, we use the outlet of cold water for washing. Works very well. It's slow but I can live with it for now

Great value for 50 GPD and compact

I had 50 GPD and now 100, I only got about 120 GPD before 100 GPD ran out. 50 gpd offers great quality and clean water for the price but I would not recommend 100 gpd as Di-Resin lasts 1/4 longer. I use 2 Di cartridges to extract 0-1ppm water from well water. Sediment and activated carbon cartridges are small and don't last long, and that's the only downside. They are cheap and easy to replace. I get about 200 gallons out of them on average, which is cheaper than buying water for myself. Use a…

ZERO TDS! good for aquarium pumps and filters

This is a good standalone reverse osmosis system for camping, 1 or 2 person homes, traveling or setting up a large aquarium. You should get a mineral chamber to add to your water filter if you want to drink water and want it to taste good. But that applies to ALL reverse osmosis systems. But no home use without constant filter changes. IMHO what did I like about it? ZERO yes Zero TDS. This is for my reef tank. I added 2 more cars. I upgraded this from level 3 to level 5 to make it an RO/ID…

Not as difficult as it seems! You can do that!

Simple! Not as difficult as it looks (in my opinion). I was afraid to try it, I wasn't sure if I could connect it or not. Not bad! Watch the video on Amazon or YouTube. I thought it was easier than reading instructions. I bought this for my 75 gallon sea fish/reef tank. Works perfectly! My water was easier to balance. For other purposes I can't say the same. I don't drink it, I think you might, but I don't drink. 2nd thought: Don't drink until you know it's safe! Ask someone who knows!πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚β€¦

Works as advertised

This filter pack is small and quite impressive for its size. The initial setup took about 1.5 hours, including the flushing time. I ended up just attaching it to the wall next to the drain for easier flushing and waste disposal. I put a DI cartridge in front of it for full water purification, and it's worth the extra money if you need clean water. It states that the water is undrinkable after passing through an optional deionizing filter, so keep that in mind. The system is used to balance the…
