Easy for small aquariums
No problem for people with small aquariums. I have a 20 gallon seawater system and wanted to avoid the frequent trips to LFS to purchase reverse osmosis saltwater. After a week of use, I was able to refill my 5 gallon reservoir with a pure reverse osmosis seawater mix. This is my first RO/DI system and we live in a small rental apartment so permanent installation was not an option. To do this, we use the outlet of cold water for washing. Works very well. It's slow but I can live with it for now until we can buy a house and expand to something more reliable. I think within a few months if not weeks it will pay off.
