Simple! Not as difficult as it looks (in my opinion). I was afraid to try it, I wasn't sure if I could connect it or not. Not bad! Watch the video on Amazon or YouTube. I thought it was easier than reading instructions. I bought this for my 75 gallon sea fish/reef tank. Works perfectly! My water was easier to balance. For other purposes I can't say the same. I don't drink it, I think you might, but I don't drink. 2nd thought: Don't drink until you know it's safe! Ask someone who knows!🤦‍♀️😂 Great for setting up and maintaining an aquarium. My saltwater fish/anemones are fine! I set up a kitchen sink, people mention using a bathtub faucet (which requires an adapter). My kitchen sink is closer to my toilet tank and I had everything with me. That's easy! Slightly slow/labor intensive (when making 75 gallons). But the results were worth it.
