Very nice light and the switch is a bonus. But there's a catch. When I found out the light had a built in switch, I removed the external switch I had planned for my light control box. The lighting system is solar and battery powered. The light should stay off when you turn it off. BUT THE LIGHT WILL TURN ON ANYTIME WHEN THE POWER IS TURNED ON. This means that if I turn off the power to the solar system and then turn it back on, the light in the closed control will come on and stay on until I open the control box. I had to add the manual switch back in. But good and well done.
