Revain's website says 'Biodegradable' and '100% Natural'. But when you open the package, the label itself states that "50% of the cleaning fibers are made from plants". So I went back and looked at the website again. The description below states that the sponge is a blend of natural fiber and "recycled synthetic fiber". It's plastic and not biodegradable. So the website contradicts itself. I bet not many people will want to separate the sponge (all natural) from the accompanying mop (50% plastic). They work great but the only reason I bought it was to support a 100% biodegradable product that says it works but doesn't.
