Installation was quick; maybe just a minute. It comes with more hardware than I need, which is a huge benefit over competing products that I turned down due to reviews saying they didn't include screws. The package included both standard bolts and metric bolts for unusual foreign cars. I had to cut a small notch at the top for the rear camera on my 2017 Honda CR-V, but it only took a few seconds with a sharp pocket knife. The rubber isn't as hard as I thought it would be, but it's good. The rubber flexes under pressure and absorbs shock without transferring it to the body. The rubber edge protrudes far enough that the impact does not penetrate to the license plate even under my body weight. For the money I'm thrilled. I originally considered competing products for $30-$50, but this one is better in every way and costs a lot less. Also, I have a lot of extra gear that I can use later!
