Bought for my 4 year old daughter as part of her Easter basket. It took the following weekend and the kite went up and we didn't even have to walk. It just took off once we got it upright! My husband and I both agree this is the easiest kite we have ever flown in our lives! My 4 year old was able to "help" with driving with no problem which boosted her ego. It also flies very high. You just hold the rope. The only downside to it being so easy to fly is my 4 year old got bored after about 5 minutes and either I or my husband had to hold on to the line. FYI, the tailpiece is not a coil. The photos show both but note that this is only one handle although it has slots to block the cord to keep it from unwinding on its own.
