It wasn't difficult for me at all. It was way faster than a very similar LOL dollhouse I've built in the past. In the end everything looked exactly like the pictures. The furniture is very cute and I love the magnetic outfits! My daughter wanted a Barbie dream house but I showed her this one and she said she liked it better and it was bigger and cheaper. We are very happy! In summary, there were no problems with alignment or the correct size of the holes. You just have to think about what you are doing or trust the process.
