Review on πŸ”Œ Next-Level Connectivity: Pioneer In-Dash Bluetooth CD/MP3 Stereo Receiver with USB, Auxiliary & Dual Phone Connection by Gary Davis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I come to work a little early.

I have been looking for a radio to replace the factory unit in my 2008 Pontiac Vibe for some time. What I wished for the most was iPhone compatibility and an extra port for non-iPhone friends. I couldn't resist the price of this device and (BONUS!) it has Bluetooth capabilities too! Well I got what I was looking for and couldn't ask for more. Now I get in my car a little earlier, plug in my phone and select an album or playlist on Spotify (I rarely use iTunes these days). ) and use the arrows or the remote control to navigate through the titles. I love that I can make hands-free calls or activate Siri via Bluetooth if needed and even make calls without touching my phone using preset phone numbers. MixTrax is a pretty fun feature, especially when friends are riding together, due to the frequency/level sensitive flashing light show. and I'm happy with it! Another minor annoyance is that while browsing through sources I come across Pandora (it's installed on my iPhone and connected via USB) and every time my phone asks permission to use the Pandora app on the device. It's just annoying because I don't want to use my limited data to stream radio. It's not a big deal anyway, and you can still use Pandora on its own. Along with this unit I had to purchase a wiring harness and radio antenna adapter (both dependent on my car's make/model) to install them, so be sure to add them to your shopping cart before placing an order! And believe me, you must place your order! Definitely worth buying! :)
