Just bought these for my friend's 14 year old daughter. I tested these on my PC as I have blasted many computer speakers including a 400w 2.1 system. Easy to install, turn up and down with volume and light. The audio is stereo and I've tested it with music bouncing back and forth from the left and right channels. There's no bass/treble adjustment so you can't adjust the sound at all, preventing you from getting the best sound out of them. I've tried Christmas music, hardcore rap, and heavy metal for different tones and clarity. I didn't use any external or software amps for amplification. sound because I didn't want to blow them right off my back. For the money they're worth now, they're worth it for the simple sound. If you like good sound for music/movies/games I would go for something else but you pay over $100 for this type of speaker system. a simple, lightweight 2.0 speaker system for your computer that you can't go wrong with as long as the price stays low. I'll update this in a while to see how they suit a 14 year old girl's taste and use. . Just thought: there's no 3.5mm headphone jack, so you can easily plug in the privacy headphones that some of my previous speakers had. So if privacy is an issue, these aren't the speakers you need.
