Review on C-Force C FORCE Portable Monitor 15.6" FreeSync Speakers, 3840X2160P, High Dynamic Range, 011X PRO4, HDMI, 4K by Robert Skogen

This is a good 4K portable monitor that works great with my mid 2015 Macbook Pro and my new M1 Mac Mini. It's a bit dimmer than my laptop screen and full-size desktop monitor, but it's on par with other portable monitors I've seen. Out of the box, the colors aren't very close to the default Mac settings - they're a cooler hue. However, the more I fiddle with the settings, the better it looks. The biggest problem I had was getting the resolution scaling correct on my 2015 Macbook Pro. It didn't give me HiDPI capabilities through my Mac's display settings, so on this machine the best resolution I could get out of the box was 1080p. I solved this problem by installing a third-party display tuning software called SwitchResX, which gives me tons of additional resolution options. Now everything looks clear and beautiful! The video input is versatile - I like that it has both standard HDMI and USB-C. The speakers aren't great, but it's a very thin device so it lives up to my expectations. If you're willing to be patient while troubleshooting your display settings, I would have no hesitation in recommending this monitor. I'm glad I bought it and it has improved my workflow.
