If you have a cat that pees over the entrance to your litter box, you need this rug. My cat has an elevator and sometimes prefers to pee at the bottom of the pan. This rug catches it so none of it ends up on my floor. It also catches flying debris and doesn't slide on the vinyl floor at all. I've had enough pot rigging now and this rug was the final piece of the puzzle. It cleans well, just wipe with a paper towel, I also use a spray cleaner (not sure if the chemicals on it will be a problem in the future or not, but no problems so far). The ribs make wiping a bit difficult but prevent liquids from flowing all around. From time to time I take it outside and rinse it out with a hose. It dries well and looks like new afterwards. It's a bit pricey but worth it for me. I bought a second one so now I have one of each size. I'm thinking of trying it in the garage under a car that's leaking oil. Again, I'm not sure how it will hold up to the chemicals, but it might be worth a try.
