They work. They fit as expected and cover our boys feet. We haven't used them very much so I can't comment on the durability of the product but a big disappointment was the "faux leather" feel. I wonder if "synthetic” means "anything other than” to growers and manufacturers now? Basically it looks like plastic, not hard plastic but almost soft plastic for lunch boxes, if you get my meaning - this shiny flexible material. Of course, people don't touch our children's shoes and they mostly just look like fake children's shoes, but that doesn't make it any better. The product just seems a bit poorly made. The outsole feels the same, just a little stiffer. more like plastic with a slightly rubbery texture. Of course, they're not rubbery enough for me to wear them comfortably on wet surfaces - I'm sure they'll slip. Overall I am very disappointed with the product. But they look like the picture. They fit well, which is why I'm giving them two stars.
