They work well and feel solid

This is one of those products that gets 5 stars when it works properly. They do. I don't actually use them for data transfer just to keep my DVR a little cleaner. So I can report that they work as expected for USB power. The build quality is very good. The conductors are protected by a nice heavy rubber and both connectors have adequate strain relief.
