I didn't like that I couldn't buy two rectangular USB cables of the same type, I had to jump for 4 cables. So I could get 2 what I wanted. And I didn't want 2. These were the lowest profile rectangular USB connectors I could find and ended up one of them still being too thick for what I need it for, but with a bit of plastic shavings it fits perfectly . Both cables are working fine so far, no problems.

It's a little hard to see in the photo but I plugged this cable into the USB port on my Sony receiver and instead of hanging the cable down the usual way is this square so i can slide it down and then under the receiver and into the lightning cable to my iphone which i use as a jukebox cd. I have hundreds of CDs stored in my phone and I just look for a CD image and I can play it. I can even pause, stop and skip to the next song with my Sony receiver remote control. Great cable. This is one of those products that gets 5 stars when it works properly. They do. I don't actually use them for data transfer just to keep my DVR a little cleaner. I was hoping that they would work as a USB 3.0 extender on my HTC Vive headset, but unfortunately I forgot to take into account the length of the plugs, they are too short Was to use to fit. That's what it's used for. However, I've found them still useful for managing USB 3.0 cables on the back of my PC. So it's not a total loss.
